I would like the links to gnucash.uservoice.com to be added to the
website, stating that it is the area to add/vote for new features. It
would also be a good idea to add it in the IRC channel welcome message,
as soon as that is done i'll edit the wiki about bugzilla and point new
feature requests to gnucash.uservoice.com
I would do this myself, but I have no editor rights in either the
channel or the website
thank you

I had a quick talk on the IRC channel today and I also searched the
documentations/wiki, it appears there is no "simple" way of
importing/exporting client/supplier details.
By details i'm referring only to their contact information/delivery
information, not their accounting history (bills, payments etc.)
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=637004 is part of this proposal.
Feel free to add comments there as well.
Staying in the line of "new feature requests" I was thinking that using
a platform for requests would be much better than the wiki-page "wishlist".
One service I had in mind was the free version of "UserVoice"... you can
see what that looks like with the TaskCoach project:
http://taskcoach.uservoice.com/forums/26465-desktop-version-windows-linux-m
ac-of-task-coach
I would like to know how the community feels about using uservoice to
compile requests etc.
Hm... I completely agree that the wiki "wishlist" page is completely useless
(I've confirmed this 1-2 weeks ago here as well). On the other hand, we
already use bugzilla extensively for book-keeping about bugs and proposed
enhancements, see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=GnuCash .
Yet again I think the implementation of uservoice.com is indeed worth a try.
I've just set up http://gnucash.uservoice.com
Are there volunteers here who would like to copy enhancement requests from the
wiki page or from bugzilla to there? Just go ahead. Also, feel free to notify
me if you would like to be added as an admin to that page as well.
Regards,
Christian
