Please post the crash report or open a bug and attach it. You'll find it in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/ and it will be named "Gnucash-bin-yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm-ss-hostname.crash" (with the date and hostname filled in, of course).

Thanks.

It crashed due to an assertion in webkitgtk; it looks like you were trying to drag something (though perhaps not intentionally; my MacBook Pro touchpad will often start to drag on its own.) That's not a gnucash bug per se, and webkitgtk is difficult to debug, but I'll put it on the queue to look at.

Ok. 2.2.9 never crashed (5 months) on this machine; twice this one crashed within 5 minutes of starting.

Are the two crash reports more or less the same?

I thought I mailed the second one to you and the list; but, no, not really, the last few calls from the second one go like this:

0 libgdk-quartz-2.0.0.dylib 0x027cea2d _gdk_events_queue + 2781
1 libgdk-quartz-2.0.0.dylib 0x027cc4bc gdk_event_dispatch + 44
2 libglib-2.0.0.dylib 0x02d4a9b2 g_main_context_dispatch + 370
3 libglib-2.0.0.dylib 0x02d4e311 g_main_context_iterate + 993
4 libglib-2.0.0.dylib 0x02d4e717 g_main_loop_run + 471
5 libgtk-quartz-2.0.0.dylib 0x02436471 gtk_main + 177

...

Something with gtk, but not a drag this time (and not webkitgtk), but a click.
