There's no reason to stay out of Bugzilla because you're not a developer. It's a good place to work on bugs with users, because it keeps the discussion focussed in one place and provides a convenient place to attach log files and so forth. If you don't want to deal with it, though, that's OK too. I would like a copy of gnucash.trace from a crash, because it might tell me what exactly gnucash was trying to extract that caused the crash.
