I have attached a patch file to bug # 554396 in bugzilla which implements partial support for Capital Gains US Tax Reporting using code 673 as described in the bug.
It also corrects a minor error in how line data is displayed in the Edit-> Tax Options dialogue. I would be grateful if one of the developers with commit privileges would apply it to trunk for me.
