In short "Payment rec'd..." is very ambiguous for translators. I'd like to hear your opinions on this: in the long run, is it best if this option were renamed to "Payment received..." (with or without the periods) or even something else that concisely describes what the option is for ("Note when paid", ...), or is the option name clear enough and should we only add a translator's note in the code. My feeling is the option name could be improved. If others agree I propose to do this now even if it would be another string freeze violation. The reason: report option names are difficult to change, because such a change messes up saved and/or open reports in various ways. The tax report is only added in the 2.3.x development series, so it's not a "stable" feature until 2.4. If we change it afterwards, normal user's saved tax reports are influenced. What do you think: a. should we change the option name ? b. what would be a better concise description ?
