Hi all,
I am currently struggling with the trial balance report in gnucash
v2.2.7.
When I attempt to run a trial balance from 2009-03-01 to 2010-02-28, I
end up with transactions included in the report from before 2009-03-01.
I keep the same gnucash file spanning multiple years, and the income
statement and balance sheet are able to show me figures from a
specific accounting year, however the trial balance doesn't want to
cooperate.
Is this normal behaviour for the trial balance, or is this a bug? What
is the significance of the "start of adjusting/closing" date, and how
does it relate to the "date of report"?
According to the title of the trial balance, it is implied that only
entries after "start of adjusting/closing date" and on or before "date
of report" are included, or have I misunderstood how this works?
