Hi If you go to the gnucash home page http://www.gnucash.org/ then click on the Documentation link on the left hand side and then scroll down to the heading GnuCash v2.0 (current stable release) there is a link to the Concepts Guide at http://www.gnucash.org/docs/v2.0/C/gnucash-guide/ which should get you going. Admittedly it is not that easy to find this. Possibly an obvious link on the front page would be useful.
