Thanks for your response. 1. I did not have guile-devel installed. 2. I do now. 3. Got further. Ran into errors with SLIB. 4. Followed the advice in both the bugid's provided (installed Slib and created a symlink); problem persists. Current status: ./configure fails at SLIB.
