Actually it's not that difficult. I've already done most of the work, somebody just needs to run the build script for every release and put the results in a DMG. You don't need to worry about library naming requirements and you can easily build two DMGs for the two architectures. http://a.sotirov.net/2008/building-gnucash-on-mac-osx/ If you use the instructions above, make sure all the file downloads succeed, I've seen people report problems with the slib URL in the script.
