let us transfer this thread to gnucash-devel. For reference: https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2008-April/024916.html You must have done a massive work when you started from scratch. Wow :-D As http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Translation describes, you are supposed to work from the stable branch, I am not sure whether you actually did this. For install.sh to respect it, make sure you include REPOS_URL="http://svn.gnucash.org/repo/gnucash/branches/2.2" in your custom.sh file which is to be put into the same directory (folder) as defaults.sh or install.sh. So, I assume you created a bg.po you put into po\ of your svn checkout, i.e. typically c:\soft\gnucash\repos\po. Add bg to the ALL_LINGUAS line in configure.in (hey, you are the first entry!). Other than that I think there is nothing special. For more translation hints see the wiki page mentioned above. If you have problems building GnuCash at all, please describe them so that we get you up and running as fast as possible :-D Shall Christian commit the po file right away? Oh, and please consider dropping us a line for AUTHORS. Have fun, -- andi5
