I am sorry that did not even check but just wanted _some_ openssl DLLs to continue the work. I do not think there will be any problems if we update to 0.9.8 as long as we provide an upgrade path in install.sh, i.e. detect the older version somehow. I do not know off-hand, so where are the DLLs installed to? Do we have total control over what openssl is used effectively? > We need to make a choice regarding openssl now. If you are able to build gwenhywfar with 0.9.8 on windows, then I think we should use that. Or are there technical reasons not to use the latest stable version? > Christian -- andi5 > - -------- Original-Nachricht -------- > Betreff: gnome-vfs and openssl > Datum: Wed, 17 Jan 2007 19:06:44 +0200 > Von: Tor Lillqvist <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > An: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > (18:11:31) cstim: tml: which openssl version do you build thw > win32-binary of gnome-vfs with? gnuwin's 0.9.7c or 0.9.8d from somewhere > else? > (18:11:51) cstim: tml: because I've been told the ABI is very different > between both versions. > > Hmm, I seem to have built with gnuwin32 0.9.7c.
