By following the instructions at http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-devel/2006-September/018588.html I was able to successfully compile GnuCash. This is great, because it is by far the best accounting program I've used, and I rather missed having it on Windows :)
The version I'm using, from the "About" box, is: svn r15094 on 2006-11-07. Anyway, I'm getting some crashes with it, and some error messages. When it starts up, the following are displayed to the console: ** (gnucash:3328): WARNING **: Failed to send buffer ** (gnucash:3328): WARNING **: Failed to send buffer gnucash: [E] "Failed to fork child process." Not really sure what those mean, though :o Also, the following actions cause it to crash: Reports -> Assets & Liabilities -> Advanced Portfolio (gnucash:3620): Gdk-WARNING **: gdkselection-win32.c:1068: OpenClipboard failed: Invalid window handle. Reports -> Assets & Liabilities -> Asset Barchart (gnucash:1044): Gdk-WARNING **: gdkselection-win32.c:1068: OpenClipboard failed: Invalid window handle. Reports -> Assets & Liabilities -> Asset Piechart (gnucash:3944): Gdk-WARNING **: gdkselection-win32.c:1068: OpenClipboard failed: Invalid window handle. I haven't yet tried the others on that menu. This does seem to be a problem with the gdk code, however, I thought I'd try here first in case someone else had run into this.
