Applied to SVN-trunk and branches/2.0 right now. Thanks a lot for pointing this out. I think this was rather a simple typo instead of someone trying to use the actual bash operator. But since only a small minority use the postgresql-backend, nobody discovered this so far. Again thanks for reporting this and sending the patch.
