A stack trace, such as it is, can be found at: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=378346 The bug does not seem to be the same; the Mac failure is a protection fault in libgnomecanvas, and the alpha failure is an assertion failure in garbage collection in libglib.
