Apparently some configuration didn't occur on startup up after a power
failure/reboot over the weekend.
A little more detail: some of the filesystems didn't get remounted after
the failure/reboot because the mountpoint disappeared. It's unclear
why the mountpoint directory disappeared across the crash as nothing was
in lost+found.
