Hi I'm a fairly amature programmer, but am motivated to find a way to make gnucash fit my needs the way I want it to. Primarily I would like to intergrate gnucash with an Invoice form I have on OpenOffice Base but have not managed to get the SQL Backend working yet. (I'm running Ubuntu and "make" keeps encountering errors)
Will the SQL Backend allow me to do this or would I be better off attempting to help improve the business features, or create a web from that accesses the xml direct? Is there any documentation on how gnucash structures it's xml files?
