I'm going through the GnuCash help files, and notice the following in section 2.2 of the Tutorial and Concepts guide (to which I'd like to suggest changes - see below):
I think what I will do is put your suggested text into the documentation, since it is certainly better than what is currently there. If anyone comes up with an alternative we can discuss it more. Sound good?
