Ahh, I didn't notice that your transactions were from different accounts. I don't know if OFX can do that (or how it would look). For QIF, you would need something like this:
!Account NWallet ^ !Type:Cash D2004/04/06 T40 PA very expensive hot dog LFood ^ !Account NMy Bank Account ^ !Type:Bank D2004/04/06 T100 L[Wallet] ^ Google for "qif !type" and you'll quickly find a lot of documentation on the qif format. -derek S2 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > Derek Atkins wrote: > >> Your best bet if you want to do this quickly is to create a QIF or OFX >> file of your transactions and use the GnuCash QIF or OFX importers. > > Thanks Derek. > Could someone tell me how a OFX file would look like with only 2 or 3 > transactions? > Something like: > > Date: 4/6/2004 > From: Wallet > To: Food > Type: Spend > Ammount: 40 > Description: a very expensive Hot Dog > > Date: 4/6/2004 > From: My Bank account > To: Wallet > Type: Receive > Ammount: 100 > Description: > > > _______________________________________________ > gnucash-devel mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-devel > > -- Derek Atkins, SB '93 MIT EE, SM '95 MIT Media Laboratory Member, MIT Student Information Processing Board (SIPB) URL: http://web.mit.edu/warlord/ PP-ASEL-IA N1NWH [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP key available _______________________________________________ gnucash-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-devel
