Too many schemers. Some people think even eguile is "too hard" for the average person. But I don't see why it's any more difficult than, say, PHP. > I am loathe to start any discussion on this right now, because > I'm busy with other things. Yea, let's table this discussion until we get the other tasks finished. We don't need to do this right now. >> and how scheme is used as an extension/configuration language. > > Yeah, I guess it didn't quite work out as envisioned. That's an understatement. So long as the user's gconf data is stored in their home directory and not in some central gconf database then I don't mind using gconf. But that's only a small portion of the scheme issue. > --linas -derek -- Derek Atkins, SB '93 MIT EE, SM '95 MIT Media Laboratory Member, MIT Student Information Processing Board (SIPB) URL: http://web.mit.edu/warlord/ PP-ASEL-IA N1NWH [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP key available _______________________________________________ gnucash-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-devel
