That takes me one step forwards; unfortunately, there is also a
dependancy on /usr/lib/libgconf-gtk.a, whilst there isn't yet a
libgconf9-dev package to go along with libgconf9 (or perhaps it's
libgconf8-dev, or gconf-dev).
