It is nice to know I'm not alone?? I recently compiled &
installed 1.4.1 without a hitch, but when I select Import,
gnucash crashes with the following messages:

/usr/local/share/gnucash/scm/qif-import/qif-guess-map.scm:32:9: In expression
(pointer-token-null? agroup):
/usr/local/share/gnucash/scm/qif-import/qif-guess-map.scm:32:9: Unbound variable:
pointer-token-null? --

I haven't tried anything else since without Import, gnucash
is useless to me!

I have a somewhat hybred SuSE system. It started life as
6.2, but has been largely upgraded to 6.4, including gcc
2.95.2 and all related libraries including glibc 2.1.3. All
gnucash reguirements are included (SuSE 6.4
versions, except g-wrap 1.3.4 was compiled from
source). The kernel is 2.2.16 patched for ppSCSI
support (for my scanner).
