This is a common symptom of saving your Quicken accounts to multiple
.qif files and importing them at different times.

If you have (say) 4 different .qif files representing different
accounts, you have to import them all "simultaneously". That means
you click the "Load File" button in the QIF import dialog 4 times, but
you only click the OK button once, after you have loaded *all* of your
.qif files into the QIF import dialog.

This will allow the QIF importer to eliminate these duplicate
transactions. Quicken actually saves the information twice, once in
each account that's affected by the transaction.

If this is not the problem, please send me email and I'll see if I can
figure out what's going on.
