Dave, are we still not checking all the error return values for
writes, closes, etc in the file IO code? If not, then that's a
*serious* bug. I fixed up some of that a while back, but may have
missed some bits.
Or, if you know, is this the engine <-> GUI disconnect we talked about
before?
