They'll ask you what kind of business you're thinking about, and
then say, "it depends."

There may be _useful ideas_.

It won't provide an unambiguous "Here's _THE_ way to do it."

As you observe, business accounting can be arbitrarily complicated.

When that happens, only a professional accountant will likely be able
to come up with structure that other professional accountants won't pick
at _too_ much.

Simply put, how things are accounted for depend on what activities are
crucial to the business.  And when the activities vary, the chart of
accounts will, unsurprisingly, vary.
