I am trying to re-parent an account with a "Liability" type to a parent
with an "Expense" type. In the process I would like for the type of the
subaccount to change to its new parent's type. In detail, I originally
setup my accounts quite some time ago with the following general
structure:

Assets
 - Checking Account
 - Investment Account
 - ...
Liabilities
 - Credit Cards
 - Taxes
   - Federal Income Tax
   - Social Security
   - ...
 - Mortgage
   - Principle
   - Interest
   - Escrow
Income
 - Employer
 - Dividends
 - Interest
 - ...
Expenses
 - Utilities
 - Auto
 - ...

It now seems that I should have placed the "Taxes" accounts that are
currently under the "Liabilities" parent under the "Expenses". The same
should be true for the "Interest" account.

If I try to edit one of these accounts, I can not reparent it to the
"Expenses" parent since the type seems to be fixed. Is there a work
around or a possible enhancement for this capability? I've checked the
archives, but was not able to find this particular issue addressed.
