The current reports autoloading code causes gnucash to crash if you
try to run it from the build directory (i.e. without a make install),
which is what I normally do.  I could change my behavior if we want to
just say that you have to run from an install tree, but the advantage
to running from the install tree (with the right SCM path) is that you
can't accidentally run stale code while you're developing.  I
originally had it set things up so that gnucash looks in ./share/scm
by default (via gnc:depend) and then in the install dir.

This discussion might also lead in to a more general discussion of the
build vs run-time stuff which definitely could be simplified if we
don't care about maintaining as much flexibility as we have now.

In any case, unless the concensus is that we don't care about running
from the build dir, I'll see if I can fix the current code...
