Xinvest features

Hi!

I use Xinvest at the moment.

What is the chance for Xinvest features in GNUcash in the
future:

-stock splits and dividends
-portfolio plots and raports
-plots of various parameters 

Also is there any chance that GNUcash files are text files?

I have my own scripts for updates stock quotes from Warsaw
Stock Exchange and I do not know if it will be easy for me
to do it the same in GNUcash.
