Unfortunately, you need it, for the moment, unless you go with the CVS
version, which has had the nana dependancy taken out (and a LOT more besides).
If you're using Debian, it's part of the main archive. I believe that
there are RPM's available, but if you can't find them try the nana
homepage at:
