Hello again,

Regarding gnucash 1.2.5-1 I also had this first line upon starting gnucash:

gnucash: Symbol `_XmStrings' has different size in shared object, consider
re-linking

I'm not sure exactly. I installed lesstif-current-1999.01,28-1.i386.rpm on
a RedHat 6.0 system.

In this case do I uninstall the lesstif-current rpm that I installed or do
I add this rpm package? As for recompiling----ummmmmm, I'd rather avoid
that if I can. So far I have had really patchy success with compiling. If
I have a really good, clear, complete procedure I can probably pull it off,
though. What do I need to do?

Also, possibly related; when I start gnucash I can't find the account I set
up. If I pull down "Open file..." and then type in accountname.xac it
opens but it never appears in the "Open file..." dialog box.
Alternatively, I can type:

gnucash accountname.xac

in the gnucash directory and it will open it. Is this a feature, a bug, or
a further symptom of some of the other problems I'm having?

Thanks,

David Bobroff
