Greetings:
I'm new to this mailing list...
1. I have a QIF file created by Quicken 98 (basic)
and when I import it I only get transactions from
2000.
I have set the clock of my machine back to 1999,
exported the transactions into two files (pre 2000
transactions and post 2000) without success. I am not
sure what version of gnucash I am running (production
version from about 5 Jan 2000) since I am at work. The
Linux is Redhat 6.1. The machine a 400 Mhz PII.
2. I speculate this is in a FAQ somewhere (smack me
around if you must ;-)): This QIF incident has piqued
my curiosity and I am wondering what chunks of
software I'd need to make gnucash on my machine. A
recent thread about "nana" comes to mind as does a web
enabled version of cvs. I have the skills to be
useful but am not interested in a shotgun approach to
building the environment.
Thanks for your time.
