I wonder if anyone can help me with this. I see posting from the archive about the same problem during a Debian install, but no solution posted. My problem is that I was able to install and configure GNUcash without errors. However, when I run it I get the following: gnucash: bootstrap file is /usr/share/gnucash/scm/bootstrap.scm gnucash: [W] "failure loading ""/usr/share/gnucash/scm/prefs.scm" gnucash: [W] "failure loading ""/usr/share/gnucash/scm/text-export.scm" ERROR: unbound variable: gnc:*config-dir* I have absolutely no idea what is going on here. Can anyone point me in a direction which will help correct what is wrong or am I dead in the water? Ivan
