I'm not sure whether I did this, or someone else did, but someone ran
automake on the sources, and I think didn't use the same arguments
that the upstream author uses.  I'm not familiar enough with automake
to know if this is a bug, but our g-wrap differs from the upstream
substantially, even ignoring my hacks.  If you use "automake
--include-deps", the (potentially unwanted) diffs go away.  We'd still
have a few diffs, but those would be improvements from the newer
version of automake.

Also, I'm not sure how you want to handle this, linas, but what do you
think about using -ko (at least) when you "cvs import" the sources in
./lib.  That'll preserve the upstream RCS variables like $Id.  It's a
little weird for us to have our versions in there.
