Hi all,

I tried to track down a segfault bug, when I ran into a different one.

I ran gnucash.gnome from xxgdb. I loaded my XAC file, then double
clicked on an account to get the report window, and gnucash segfaulted
as expected. But - the next time I ran gnucash, all the accounts
appeared twice - it was as if the XAC file had been loaded twice, once
after the other. This corruption was permanent, even after a machine
restart the file now still loads twice.

Loading the same data file into gnucash.motif shows the file as normal -
the file is no longer corrupt. Seems something in the way the gnome
version displays accounts is toasted.

Hmm - after some more playing around, I get the following behavior:

- Open gnucash.gnome with no command line options. Click open, select a
.xac file, file opens as normal. Close gnucash again.

- Open a set of accounts by running gnucash and specifying an account
on the command line like so: gnucash.gnome finance.xac

- You will see your accounts duplicated.

- Now, click on "open". You will get an open file dialog box. Click
"cancel"
on the open file dialog box. It disappears, an additional set of
accounts
appears. Each time you do this, a new set of accounts is appended to the
accounts in your window.

Regards,
Graham
