Yes, I've looked at all three projects. I'm not entirely sure that they
have the same goals. Accounting is to be a part of OBE but not at the
inital phase. I'm focusing on the work flow, inv control, automation of
ordering, invoicing, etc.

OBE also strives to eventualy handle things like, in the
instance of a manufacturing facility, production control, machine
scheduling, machine setup/tooling tracking, tool crib alerts (so tooling
can be ready before the machine needs it), etc.

I believe GERP is the closest to what OBE attempts, I'm on their mailing
list, but it seems to focus on larger businesses with additional
complexity. I could be mistaken though. It is also seems to be very
formal in its development process. Which is not a bad thing, just not
what I'm after. I want OBE to be more open and informal than that. I'm
willing to release code now and let people mess around, if there is
interest in the project.

OBE also strives to be a mutation of existing systems rather than a
complete rewrite of every feature. Maximal reuse of others code, others
projects is a #1 priority. There is new code (almost all of it is
new at this time) but I'd much rather find existing projects that have the
needed features and fit the pieces together.
