OK, I don't have anymore time for this right now, but hopefully I've
gotten things going in the right direction. I'm going to send you a
patch now. It won't compile, and there's still quite a bit of work to
be done to bring Filebox.c and MainWindow.c into line with the motif
code, but it's a start...
