*The Issue:* I have noticed that scrolling the applications drawer becomes a very big problem depending on the device used. This problem takes the form of app pages "zooming" past the intended location.
In particular, this is a problem for laptops with small touchpads, and mice with touch scroll surfaces. *Options for Solution:* When a user sets up their GNOME shell to use app folders for the app drawer, this gives the user an excellent pop-up which features the ability to scroll the apps in said folder, by pixel line. GNOME could do well to include an option to use the above method on the main app drawer, versus the default paginated scrolling. Another alternative is to have an option for row based scrolling. *Why it Should be Implemented:* To gauge community interest in the above solutions, I created two polls: Poll on Linux G+ Community <https://plus.google.com/+LukeJones_randomgarage/posts/9bcTAAGbJuH> Poll on GNOME G+ Community <https://plus.google.com/+LukeJones_randomgarage/posts/J6n1czgjvRP> These polls are a good sample providing an indication that 50% of the GNOME user base would prefer to use a line/row based app drawer scrolling. The fact that this is a healthy 50/50 split for "row" vs "paged" indicates that a toggled option within GNOME for choosing either row or paged would be the best solution. How hard would this be to implement, and are there any ui/ux choices that would prevent such an option being included? Regards, Luke Jones
