Thanks - I am one of the guys from tinycorelinux.

Looking at the arch deps for gnome-shell, the only one missing is libgsystem, 
so I'll try that.

It's not so obvious to remove gnome-shell, mutter, etc as they were all 
compiled from source (and in exactly the same way as those from gnome-3.10.x, 
which works on the same laptop and the same version of tinycorelinux).
