I'm having a problem updating one of my extensions for 3.8. I've played with it a couple of times over the past month and not managed to fix it.
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/568/notes/ My extension adds another view to the shell, and as far as I can tell, it does it in the same way as the applications view. The problem, is that when the button is clicked to show the view, the dash at the left slides out of view and hides. This doesn't happen when the app button is clicked, yet I can't find any difference in code that might cause this behaviour. Does anybody know what I need to change to stop the dash disappearing when the view changes? Thanks, Sam Bull
