The reason for GS extension was its easily design-able and modify-able
capabilities

To make myself more clear : I want a customizable toolbar featuring *boxes
containing specified buttons.* These boxes can be *multiline*. they should
have good separation in between them.
They should be easily *customizable*(The icons in particular boxes can be
moved or removed, boxes can be rescaled, etc). I dont exactly want MS office
Ribbon like interface. I want menus . I just want to modify toolbar.

I dont think we can create multiline toolbars in GTK (which I dont know)

I have progressed somewhat (I can make toolbars with icons appear on the
screen- using Looking glass and drop down terminal and Frippery Bottom
panel source code) but I need some good DBus reference so that i can learn
how to interact with libreoffice
