Hello, That this is a proposal for the extinction of the computer. Rather than offering standby when you press the ALT key, I propose to keep only the button off. When you select Off, the dialog box that appears offers us two choices:
- Switch off and close all applications. or - Standby and keep applications on next boot. If no application is launched, the only choice is first proposed. When do you think? A possible alternative would be to allow a restoration of the session as allowed by Firefox, but it would apply to all applications. Or, should keep a log of the names of applications and open files each off the computer. We would then have an application that would display the last stops on the computer, and for each stop displaying the list of programs and open files. That would be great! Thank you for your attention. Jerome Gnome-shell user and therefore Gnome 3
