Hi,

I have tried to install gnome-shell over a minimal ubuntu install, and it
has been a horror to get it completely working. If you install gnome-shell
packet, there is no dependency with gnome-core, thought it needs it to do
anything.

After using it for some time, I realised that it is not storing changes I
do through it. For example, favourites links, added printers, configuration
about it, etc. All reseted with reboot. So I tried to launch a program from
the gnome core, and it threw this:

GLib-GIO-Message: Using the 'memory' GSettings backend. Your settings will
> not be saved or shared with other applications.

Which I didn't configure, and I don't know where is it coming from. I have
been searching around the net but found nothing too related (a bug with
epiphany which outputed the same error), and was finally solved installing
libdconf (which a non working fix for this).

I didn't wanted to create a bug before I knew if there is something I have
done wrong.
