Why don't you have the MetaWindowActor? When establishing a signal like: actor.metaWindow.connect('size-changed', ...);
Do: actor.metaWindow.connect('size-changed', Lang.bind(this, this.windowSizeChanged, actor)); and now you have the actor parameter closed over the signal handler.
