Maybe yes, maybe no... :-) It depends on the source of the error. Generally, this is caused by a POT file which cannot be properly regenerated. In that case, the better resolution would be to fix the problem with that POT file. In the case where the discrepancy is caused by statistics that didn't finish properly, then yes, the new function can help. To find the offending package, compare your language detailed stats with POT files: https://l10n.gnome.org/languages/es/gnome-3-8/ui/ https://l10n.gnome.org/languages/C/gnome-3-8/ui/ Then find where is the difference in the total number of strings for each package.
