Hi, I would like to see the quality of the GIMP translations improved. Quite a few languages have not been updated in a while and need to be completed for the 2.6 release. So I would like to invite our users to help with the translations. But I wonder how I could best do this without stepping on the toes of the translation teams.
Should I ask interested users to contact the translation team of their language (using http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/)? Or should I ask them to download the po files from http://l10n.gnome.org/module/gimp and start to work on them? How could they contribute their work? By opening a bug report against the l10n product in Bugzilla and attaching the po file there? Is there a translators guide that I can point potential contributors to?
