Hi All: For work on http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=540123, we have added new strings and a new GUI component to Orca. This work was contributed by our newest Orca community member, Mesar Hameed, and adds functionality that has been sought after by a number of users.
The new UI component is a "Speak tutorial messages" on the "Speech" tab of the Orca preferences GUI. When checked, it tells Orca to speak tutorial messages for how to interact with components when a user lands on them (e.g., "Press space to toggle."). The new strings are as follows: #: ../src/orca/orca-setup.glade.h:134 msgid "Speak tutorial messages" #.
