Thanks a lot. I don't need a lot a disk-space: I've edited your script by adding /po at the end of the address. Another thing: any way not to have to type my .ssh/id_rsa password 300 times?

To do that I downloaded the list of modules in GNOME SVN and massaged it a little bit. The checkouts can then be done using a simple script. I'm attaching the module list and the script. To use, just drop them in an empty directory and run. Obviously, this won't work well if you don't have a fat pipe and plenty of free disk space (the whole checkout eats ~9GB here).
