If you would like to try out GNOME 2.14 to test your language without
having to install, you may have a go with
Forsight Linux, http://www.foresightlinux.com/
"Foresight Linux is a Distribution which showcases some of the latest
and greatest from GNOME."
You may install Forsight Linux or you may even use a so-called VMPlayer
virtual machine image.
For the last to work, you simply download the VMPlayer image and you run
it with VMPlayer (http://www.vmware.com/products/player/) which is free
for Lin/Win. That is, you can run without affecting your existing
distribution.
