This is a difficult one. We effectively forked AT-SPI when beginning the D-Bus work. The fork happened around May of 2008. There have been severe changes to the code since then, the AT-SPI bridge is somewhat unrecognizable. We don't want to regress, so there would be an advantage in reproducing any applicable bug fixes. I have looked through the AT-SPI Changelog, and it doesn't look too worrying. Some of the patches are not applicable as they relate to Bonobo / CORBA. We will have to go through the list and reproduce the bug fixes that are still relevant.
