Hey All: I just tried this and got it to work first try. Neat. The camera I used was a Creative Live! Cam Video IM Pro, which I picked up as an open box buy for about US$25.
Hopefully everyone with a web cam can give this a shot before Monday's IRC meeting so you can be ready to give Flavio some informed feedback based upon real experience.
