We are running quite a large system with a default checkpoint intervals (15 minutes). However, in the md.log file, it is written like below
Writing checkpoint, step 1380000 at Thu Jan 19 11:00:36 2012 Writing checkpoint, step 1380010 at Thu Jan 19 11:00:41 2012 Writing checkpoint, step 1380020 at Thu Jan 19 11:00:46 2012 Writing checkpoint, step 1380030 at Thu Jan 19 11:00:51 2012 Writing checkpoint, step 1380040 at Thu Jan 19 11:00:55 2012 Writing checkpoint, step 1380050 at Thu Jan 19 11:01:00 2012 Then after an hour - Writing checkpoint, step 1390000 at Thu Jan 19 12:21:18 2012 Writing checkpoint, step 1390010 at Thu Jan 19 12:21:23 2012 Writing checkpoint, step 1390020 at Thu Jan 19 12:21:28 2012 Writing checkpoint, step 1390030 at Thu Jan 19 12:21:32 2012 The job is executed using 4 cores.
